Director’s Attachment on Documentary Feature Film
A Professional Attachment opportunity is available through the Screenwest Crew Attachment Program on an upcoming Documentary Feature Film.

About the Attachment
The successful candidate will complete a five-week Director’s Attachment in Sydney under the expert guidance of director Gracie Otto where they will:
- be exposed to the directorial processes associated with an international feature documentary
- work with an intimate documentary team and learn a range of skills
- learn processes associated with the use of music and archival material in documentary
- work in collaboration with the director and assist in research, script editing and shoot preparation
- participate in story workshops and production meetings
- work alongside archive producer and music supervisor and assist with management of material

It is anticipated the successful recipient will start in the role on Wednesday, 28 August 2019. Flights and accommodation will be covered for the duration of the role.
If the right candidate cannot be found for this role, the attachment may be offered in another department.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements

- Someone with experience and knowledge of documentary scripts and research
- Confident and articulate verbal and written communication skills
Attachment Conditions
It is expected the successful Attachment will:
- Comply with the Producer’s workplace rules and requirements for safety and behaviour.
- Comply with all lawful and reasonable directions given to the Attachment by officers or employees of the Producer during the Term of the Attachment.
- Keep confidential any and all confidential information of the Producer that comes into the Attachment’s possession.
