Development Funds Open for First Rounds of 2018-19

Screenwest has opened applications for the first round of development funding in 2018-19 for the:

• Documentary & Television Development Fund, and
• Feature Film Development Track Fund (Intake 1)

The guidelines and application details for both funds can be found on the development funding page of the Screenwest website.

Documentary & Television Development Fund

Documentary and Television Development Investment funding is designed to support Western Australian companies and individuals by investing in the development of factual programming and scripted television series.

Successful applicants may be offered up to a maximum of $25,000 per application. The level of Screenwest’s funding commitment will be determined by the assessment process and the total demand on available funds.

Feature Film Development Track Fund

The Feature Film Development Track Fund provides project development funding to Western Australian scripted features at various milestones for up to one consecutive year. This is the first of two intakes for the 2018-19 financial year.

Successful applicant(s) may be offered up to a maximum of $25,000 per assessment /milestone stage. Successful applicants may apply for additional funding at up to three subsequent milestones to a limit of $50,000 over the course of the track year.
