Screenwest wants YOU to join the WA screen industry
Screenwest has partnered with Screen Careers to bring two crew skills development workshops to Perth. Set Educated and the Location Manager Intensive are designed to equip you with the contacts and know how needed to either change departments or take that first leap into show business.
Screenwest heading to Albany to meet Great Southern screen practitioners
Screenwest Development Manager, Shane McNeil, is heading to Albany in March to meet with Great Southern-based screen practitioners. Shane will be available to meet with practitioners one-on-one to discuss Screenwest’s funding opportunities.
Applications open for Production Manager Accelerator Workshop 2024
Screenwest is pleased to announce the return of the successful Production Manager Accelerator Workshop for 2024. The workshop will provide a limited number of WA practitioners with an understanding of Production Management and the mechanics of taking a production from script to screen. Applications close Thursday, 4 January at 5:00pm AWST.

Five WA Reflections short documentaries launching online today
The State Library of Western Australia and Screenwest’s joint initiative has produced five new documentaries based around stories from the State Library collections, with public screenings taking place between now and the end of the year.
Screenwest Digital Games Evening + IGEA’s ‘Australia Plays 2023’
Special industry guests Alec Shea and Mauro Fiore are heading to Perth this month to meet WA games studios and developers at a presentation and networking event on 15 August, with IGEA inviting Western Australians to the launch of ‘Australia Plays 2023’ on 16 August.
