Screenwest has opened applications for travel to the Natalie Miller Brilliant Careers Leadership Forum. Applications close Monday, 7 October 2019 at 5:00pm AWST.
Western Australian female or female-identifying screen industry leaders, both emerging and established, are invited to apply for funding support from Screenwest to attend the 2019 Brilliant Careers Leadership Forum.
Presented by the Natalie Miller Fellowship in partnership with Film Victoria, the 2019 Brilliant Careers Leadership Forum will be held in Melbourne on October 24 – 25.
Consisting of a screening evening and one-day conference at RMIT University, the Forum brings together close to 200 women for sessions on navigating leadership, developing confidence, influence and presence, and offers valuable opportunities to make new connections across the screen industry.
Building upon the success of the 2017 Brilliant Careers national conference, this year’s forum will address the gender imbalance in decision-making roles in the industry and support the emergence of the next generation of female leaders.
The 2019 Brilliant Careers Leadership Forum includes:
- Evening networking function and screening of This Changes Everything at HOYTS Melbourne Central, 6:00pm on Thursday, 24 October 2019.
- All-day conference on Friday, 25 October 2019 (9:00am – 5:00pm) at RMIT University, including facilitated workshops, keynote speakers and panel discussions, followed by networking drinks from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
Funding Available
Screenwest will support up to two Western Australian, emerging and established female or female-identifying screen industry leaders to attend the Forum. Screenwest will cover up to $1000 towards travel to the conference.
