Applications Open for Small Screen and Documentary Development
Screenwest has opened applications for the Small Screen: Scripted Development Investment Fund and the Documentary Development Investment Fund.
Small Screen: Scripted Development Investment Fund applications close Monday, 24 February 2020 at 5:00pm AWST.
Documentary Development Investment Fund applications close Monday, 30 March 2020 at 5:00pm AWST.
Small Screen: Scripted Development Investment Fund
Small Screen is a development initiative that offers new, emerging and experienced Western Australian storytellers the opportunity to get their scripted series ready for market.
The initiative is designed as a precursor to Screenwest’s Matched Development fund and is part of Screenwest’s overall strategic objective to increase the number of dramas and comedy series commissioned from Western Australia for the small screen (television, streaming service or web content).
The initiative has two stages/funding streams:
- Stage One: Concept Development
- Stage Two: Series Development
How to Apply
The full guidelines, application materials and eligibility criteria are available on the Small Screen: Scripted Development Investment Fund page of the Screenwest website.
All program guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
An application receipt will be forwarded to the applicant within two working days to confirm that Screenwest has received the application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact Screenwest if an application receipt has not been received within this timeframe.
Applications close Monday, 24 February 2020 at 5:00pm AWST.
Documentary Development Investment Fund
The Documentary Development Investment Fund is designed to support Western Australian companies and individuals by investing in the development of documentary and factual programming.
How to Apply
The full guidelines, application materials and eligibility criteria are available on the Documentary Development Investment Fund page of the Screenwest website.
All program guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
