Applications open for virtual pass support to attend AIDC 2022 online
Screenwest has opened a competitive one-off round to provide a limited number of WA documentary filmmakers and WA Indigenous documentary filmmakers with a Virtual All Access pass to attend AIDC 2022 online.
In light of the uncertainty surrounding the WA border, Screenwest has opened a competitive one-off round to provide a limited number of WA documentary filmmakers and WA Indigenous documentary filmmakers with a Virtual All Access Pass to attend AIDC 2022 online.
The All Access Pass – Virtual will give independent producers and non-corporate delegates digital access to AIDC 2022 sessions and marketplace activities.
Indigenous filmmakers will immediately be eligible to attend AIDC’s Indigenous Creators Program, including the program’s daily conference sessions and the First Nations Marketplace.
Practitioners that can demonstrate how attending and having access to key industry stakeholders and international marketplace to progress their project(s) will be prioritised.
Only one representative per film project, company or organisation is eligible to receive support, and as this is a competitive round, pass support is not assured even where an applicant meets all the minimum eligibility criteria. Screenwest will endeavour to support a number of emerging practitioners.
AIDC is Australia’s premier event for non-fiction content and is committed to supporting and elevating documentary and factual storytelling across all forms.
Serving both the commercial and creative needs of the industry, AIDC organises a marketplace for documentary and factual product, showcases the work of Australian and international producers, and creates a forum to discuss content, craft, technology and future directions.
