Screenwest has opened a competitive round to provide travel funding to a limited number of WA filmmakers to attend the Australian Feature Film Forum, taking place during the Australian International Movie Convention on the Gold Coast from 31 October – 2 November 2023.
The Australian Feature Film Forum aims to close the gap between filmmakers and the theatrical marketplace and facilitate a valuable information exchange between the often-siloed filmmaker, distributor and exhibitor sectors.
Focusing primarily on the scripted feature, the forum will involve several components including panels, pitch forums, screenings, and guest speakers. The Australian Feature Film Group (AFFG) will be in attendance, made up of representatives from the production, exhibition, and distribution sectors, as well as representatives of screen agencies, associations and guilds.
About Australian Feature Film Forum 2023 travel funding
