Feature Navigator is back
This scripted feature film development initiative is for writers, directors and/or producers at any career level with feature film concepts that can be made in WA. Up to six WA teams and/or individuals will be selected to participate in workshops with leading industry feature film creatives. Applications close Monday, 13 January 2025 at 5:00pm AWST.
Screenwest is pleased to announce the revival of the scripted feature development initiative, Feature Navigator. The initiative is designed for writers, directors and/or producers at any career level with feature film concepts that can be made in Western Australia.
Up to six WA creative teams or individuals will be selected to participate in development workshops with leading feature film creatives, with a focus to accelerate their projects to be market ready.
The Perth-based workshop will run over four consecutive days in March/April 2025. Successful applicants will be notified of the dates and required to be available to attend in person on all dates.
Following the Feature Navigator workshop up to two teams will receive further development funding.
Screenwest encourages applications from First Nations Australians and people from historically underrepresented groups.
How to Apply
The application deadline is Monday, 13 January 2025 at 5:00pm AWST.
Applications will be accepted through the Screenwest SmartyGrants portal.
