Applications Open for Documentary Production and Development Funding
Screenwest has opened applications for the Documentary Production Fund and the Documentary Development Investment Fund.
Applications for the Documentary Production Fund close Monday, 28 October 2019 at 5:00pm AWST. Applications for the Documentary Development Investment Fund close Monday, 4 November 2019 at 5:00pm AWST.
About the Documentary Production Fund
The Documentary Production Fund provides support to Western Australian Producers with distinctive, high quality and diverse projects with strong Western Australian outcomes.
The fund provides production finance as a grant for feature length documentary films and factual series with significant marketplace attachments from traditional and new online platforms and distributors.
How to Apply
The full guidelines, application materials and eligibility criteria are available on the Documentary Production Fund page of the Screenwest website.
All program guidelines are to be read in conjunction with the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
An application receipt will be forwarded to the applicant within two working days to confirm that Screenwest has received the application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact Screenwest if an application receipt has not been received within this timeframe.
Applications close Monday, 28 October 2019 at 5:00pm AWST.
About the Documentary Development Investment Fund
The Documentary Development Investment Fund is designed to support Western Australian companies and individuals by investing in the development of documentary and factual programming.
Successful applicants may be offered up to a maximum of $25,000 per application.
Eligible documentary project formats include:
- Feature
- Single
- Series
- Large format (e.g. IMAX)
- Innovative documentary project
