Applications now open for Games Connect Asia Pacific 2022 travel support
Screenwest is offering the opportunity for a limited number of Western Australian digital games studios and developers to attend Games Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP), the industry based business-to-business conference which takes place as part of Melbourne International Games Week in October. Applications close Monday, 19 September.
Games Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) focuses on professional development, education and providing invaluable networking experiences for delegates, connecting them to industry peers from this region and abroad. Screenwest is offering the opportunity for a limited number of Western Australian digital games studios and developers to participate in the three-day conference, held in person at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3 – 5 October.
To be eligible for travel support to attend GCAP, you must be a Western Australian based digital games studio, independent developer or industry practitioners.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to attend lectures, practical workshops, networking events and exhibitions aimed toward mid to advanced level practitioners with a focus on education, knowledge sharing and the provision of extended personal and business connections.
GCAP falls within the 2022 Melbourne International Games Week.
Applications close at 5:00pm AWST on Monday, 19 September 2022.
Screenwest will provide the successful applicant with a set amount of $1,500 in travel funding towards their registration, travel and accommodation costs.
