Screenwest Announces WA Screen Industry Sustainability Package

East Perth Creative Hub open for business

The new East Perth Creative Hub, which was launched on 1 December, is open for business with strong interest already received from individuals and businesses across the industry. Innovation hub specialists Business Station, who were appointed to operate the hub in partnership with the ABC and Screenwest, are managing a variety of spaces including fixed offices, open-plan hot desks, production facilities, meeting and event rooms and a co-working area, all available on flexible arrangements.

The Minister for Culture and the Arts, Hon John Day MLA, today announced that Screenwest will transition from a Government agency to an independent, not for profit. Formally, Screenwest will convert from an Incorporated Association to a Company Limited By Guarantee (CLBG).
