Check out Revelation’s COUCHED Panels this weekend

Revelation Perth International Film Festival, panels and discussions have long been an opportunity for local, national and international voices to come together to discuss all aspects of screen culture. At COUCHED this is no exception with talks scheduled over the weekend of 18 and 19 July.

Revelation Program Director Jack Sargeant says that Revelation remains committed to encouraging discussion and stimulating inspiring conversations, “These panels offer audiences, filmmakers, and those in the industry the chance to come together. It’s the first time we’ve used Zoom like this, but we’re excited that it opens up the opportunity for participation across the globe.”

The panel discussions mark the final addition to the inaugural COUCHED online program which presents 70 films from 15 countries, 13 world and international premieres, seven WA made films and a special live event.

The sessions cover themes and discussions on Short Filming in WA, the International film festival landscape in light of COVID-19, documentary filmmaking in Australia from filmmakers featured in the festival, an in depth look at independent filmmaking with the local filmmakers behind the film an Ideal Host and much more. All discussions are free to join and all are listed in Perth local time (AWST).

See the full sessions list over the two days on the Rev Eventive site.

Screenwest through the support from Lotterywest has proudly supported the festival since 2015 through the Audience Community Engagement Fund.
