Screenwest in partnership with Panavision and the WA chapter of the Australian Cinematographer Society is offering a series of workshops on Thursday, 2 May and Friday, 3 May 2019 at Johnny Ma Studios in Maylands.

The workshops will be run by Panavision’s Nic Godoy for cinematographers, camera department crew, directors, producers and production managers.

About the Workshops

Using Panavision’s array of camera and lenses, the hands-on workshops will show

  • how the technology influences the creative elements to visual story-telling
  • explain modern filming techniques, and
  • the evolution of filmmaking.

Workshops will incorporate video references, ‘lit set’ demonstrations and theory presentations.

And in a WA first, Panavision will showcase their renowned inventory of Anamorphic, Spherical, Large Format lenses and the Panavision Millenium DXL2 Camera.

Each workshop will be split into three sessions, tailored to different groups. Please note there are limited slots available for each session.
