Screenwest in partnership with Screenworks is offering an opportunity for two WA emerging to mid-career producers to attend the 2019 Business of Producing Seminar in Ballina. Screenwest will provide access to the three-day workshop including accommodation, flights, travel and per diems.

Applications close Monday, 25 February 2019 at 5:00pm WST.

Successful participants to this workshop will hear from some of Australia’s most successful producers, broadcast and distribution executives as well as representatives from screen industry funding bodies. The information imparted and networks created is intended to leverage screen projects and careers to the next level.

Guest speakers will share advice on best practice in producing successful screen content and will be available for limited pre-booked one-on-one meetings.

Screenworks and Screenwest are particularly interested in supporting producers located in regional WA.

Eligibility

An application must first meet the following eligibility criteria in order to be competitively assessed for funding through this program.

The applicant must:

  1. Meet the general eligibility requirements set out in the Screenwest’s Terms of Trade.
  2. Be a Western Australian resident (see Screenwest Terms of Trade for the full definition)
  3. Have displayed a substantial commitment to producing as evidenced in their track record.
