After extensive research and consultation, Screenwest has revised the Screen Culture Fund guidelines, re-launching them as the Audience and Community Engagement Fund (ACEF) guidelines and opening the first intake which closes Monday, 5 February 2018 at 5:00pm WST.

Whilst the Screen Culture Fund was by invitation only in recent years, Screenwest is now accepting applications for the ACEF with two intakes per financial year*, inviting organisations who administer activities which enhance the Western Australian screen industry by promoting local productions and practitioners to audiences to apply.

Such activities may include, but are not limited to, curated public screenings, festivals, engagement activities between Western Australian filmmakers and the public or tours that provide opportunities for Western Australian audiences to see and experience quality Western Australian screen content.

The ACEF guidelines and application materials can be found here on the Screenwest website.

Please ensure you read the ACEF guidelines thoroughly to understand funding available, eligibility, how to apply, assessment and terms of funding.

Applicants are encouraged to contact the ACEF Program Manager at Screenwest, Tamara Bardas, to discuss your activity prior to submitting an application.

*There will only be one intake for 2017/18, the aforementioned 5 February 2018 intake.
