Screenwest is pleased to announce that the City of Vincent Film Project, formerly run by FTI, will return this year through a partnership between the City of Vincent and Revelation Film Festival.

The City of Vincent Film Project is an opportunity for filmmakers to tell stories in and about the City of Vincent, and the City will provide a total of $15,000 to fund three short documentaries.

Revelation Film Festival Director Richard Sowada said the project wanted to hear ideas from filmmakers of any level.

“Vincent’s wealth of subject matter – local characters, urban legends, extraordinary community groups, local history, businesses that operate in special ways plus facilities and parks – hold special meanings to its community,” said Sowada.

Revelation and the City of Vincent want to use this unique initiative to see people’s perspectives and hear their stories.”

The City of Vincent Film Project is now calling for submissions, with a closing date of
1 November 2017.

Submissions will be considered by a panel of industry professionals, and representatives of the City of Vincent and the Revelation Perth International Film Festival.

Details can be found at Revelation Film Festival website or downloaded from here.
