The team at Fielder Street Creative have been welcoming new members and working collaboratively to make the space a productive and fun place to be.

Here is an update from the team at Fielder Street.

The ‘Fielders’ recently held a ‘let’s eat lunch together’ event where the resident creative entrepreneurs introduced themselves and talked about their work and goals.

The wealth of talent at Fielder St is exceptional and the potential for collaboration very exciting.

A new Facebook group has been set up for office holders and co-workers to network and share ideas and they have already organised a table for the Radio Lollipop quiz night (thanks to Mike Nicholas from Run Mouse Run) – the combined brain power is sure to be a winning combination.

On the work front, Mike has a top secret children’s book illustration in the works and Peter Ryan from Tail Art is doing Sketchbook September (30 days & 30 sketches).

“I have only ever sold a couple sketches from my sketchbooks, but for the first time ever I will be drawing and selling a sketch everyday over the month of September,” he said.

“My sketches are special as they are the original first created ideas which I turn into oil paintings or refined drawings, and I’m sure more than a few of these will too.”

There is only one a day so keep a look out…’September 1′ is on sale now https://www.peterryanart.com.au/online-shop/.

Meanwhile Dom from Hullabaloo Co. has been busy working with the WA Museum and Mixed Media on the incredible exhibition, Heath Ledger, A Life in Pictures.

Curated by the Western Australian Museum and presented in partnership with The Art Gallery of Western Australia, the exhibition runs from 14 October – 29 January.
