Written and directed by Western Australian filmmaker Zak Hilditch, We Bury the Dead has attracted production funding from Screen Australia, Screenwest, Lotterywest, the WA Regional Screen Fund, Gramercy Park Media and Peachtree Media Partners.
Lotterywest provides Screenwest with record $9.2M for 2023/2024
Lotterywest has provided Screenwest with a grant of $7.7M plus an additional grant of $1.5M, as a result of an unprecedented level of production. This additional grant will see WA achieve its biggest year of scripted production to date.
Feature film ‘Red Rock Run’ greenlit for production in Karratha in Western Australia
