Synopsis

Inspired by true events, Population 11 is a comedic thriller about a man who goes missing from a tiny outback town and his estranged son, Andy, who comes looking for him. As Andy navigates feuding neighbours, bizarre love triangles and dodgy meat pies, he’s driven to the brink of sanity by the motley crew of residents and begins to understand why some people just don’t want to be found.

Filming with WA crew

“I’m extremely hopeful that my first time working with a Western Australian crew will not be my last.

“There is a level of passion and dedication to the work that you just don’t see in other parts of the world. They are incredibly smart, resourceful, and all-around great hangs”.
