Goolarri provides a number of culturally appropriate services to the community and we play an integral role in the Indigenous community because we endeavour to reflect cultural values with respect and integrity.

Goolarri Media is also a Registered Training Organisation specialising in Media Studies

Goolarri specializes in Indigenous storytelling and in ensuring Indigenous voices are heard on the national film landscape. We can assist in liaising with Indigenous groups, facilitating cultural approvals and consulting over cultural content and information. We are based in Broome and can assist in location scouting, recommendations for shoot locations and logistics

Traditional owners accessible to assist and explain requirements of property, history and cultural issues. Directors are all Aboriginal members of the two owner Communities.

As a cultural custodian Josh works in a variety of roles in the community. His company, ‘Koomal Dreaming’ based in Dunsborough, provides an opportunity for visitors to experience authentic Aboriginal cultural experiences. Dedicated about caring for country Josh works with local organisations to ensure the protection and prosperity of the ‘Cape to Cape’ ‘Warren Blackwood’ region.

Josh has been an active board member of WAITOC and Ambassador for South West Indigenous Tourism for a number of years.
