John V. Soto recently won Best Director at the Austin Revolution Film Festival USA for his Sci Fi feature film The Gateway (2018) starring Jacqueline McKenzie.

The film was acquired and released across North America by Gravitas Ventures.  John also directed The Reckoning, a crime thriller starring Luke Hemsworth and Jonathan LaPaglia and also directed the supernatural horror, Needle, starring Travis Fimmel and Ben Mendelsohn. Reg Cribb is an accomplished writer for the stage and screen and his plays have been performed both nationally and internationally.

Reg adapted his play Last Cab To Darwin as a feature film, directed by Jeremy Sims and starring Michael Caton and Jackie Weaver. The film was nominated for eight AACTA awards and won Best Adapted Screenplay; and was nominated for an AWGIE for Best Adapted Feature.

Reg adapted his first play, The Return, re-titled Last Train To Freo as a feature film. The screenplay was nominated for an AFI award for Best Adapted Screenplay and won the 2005 WA Premier’s Script Award.

Craig Silvey is a West Australian novelist based in Fremantle.

Craig was raised on an orchard in Western Australia. At the age of 19, he wrote his first novel, Rhubarb, while living in Fremantle, where he now resides. In 2007 Silvey released The World According to Warren, a picture book starring the guide-dog from Rhubarb. In early 2008, he completed his second novel, Jasper Jones, an award-winning gothic tale that has become a global hit. In addition to his literary pursuits, Silvey is the singer/songwriter for the band The Nancy Sikes.
