John V Soto won Best Director at the British Independent Film Festival for his feature film The Reckoning starring Luke Hemsworth and Jonathan LaPaglia.

John also directed the feature film Needle starring Travis Fimmel and Ben Mendelsohn. Needle was acquired for US release by Lionsgate and has since been released in over 80 countries. John co-directed his first feature film Crush in 2009. All of John’s films have had Australian theatrical and TV releases.
