Brian Beaton Award 2021 – Public Fund Grant
The Brian Beaton Award recognises the valuable contribution esteemed late documentary maker Brian Beaton made to the Western Australian screen industry. The Award honours his memory by awarding a grant to Western Australian resident filmmaker/s who have a current social impact project that needs further support to reach its full potential. The Brian Beaton Award is a financial grant, made up of Screenwest grant funding, the generous support of the screen industry and donations made by the public to the Screenwest Public Fund. As the Award comprises both a Screenwest grant and a grant from the Screenwest public fund the successful recipient/s must agree to both Screenwest’s Public Fund Grant Agreement terms and Screenwest’s Terms of Trade. The outcome of the Brian Beaton Award will be announced in the Screenwest Newsletter and will be listed in the 2021-22 Screenwest Annual Report.
