In October 2016, Screenwest launched a new five year strategic plan responding to significant changes in the screen industry and an exciting but challenging future ahead.

The agency is now reviewing its funding programs to ensure they best deliver on the strategic plan.

A new policy framework for Screenwest’s funding programs has been developed and early draft guidelines for production and business support funding created.

The agency will be shortly seeking feedback from interested parties. Screenwest encourages everyone to consider the approach proposed and the early draft guidelines and provide feedback.

It is anticipated that the new guidelines will be implemented from late 2017, with final dates to be notified.


INFORMATION SESSION: A presentation will be held to introduce the outline of the proposed new guidelines. At this session an update on Screenwest’s structural transition will also be provided.

The presentation will also be livestreamed on Screenwest’s Facebook page.  Following the information session, the presentation Powerpoint and guidelines will be available on Screenwest’s website.

FEEDBACK: To capture feedback, an online survey will be distributed after the information session.  The survey will close 5:00pm Thursday, 13 April 2017.
