WA Screen Awards – first round for nominations closing soon
The WA Screen Awards (WASA) celebrates innovation and the achievements of Western Australian filmmakers, from students through to established industry professionals. Nomination deadlines for the Lotterywest Award for Outstanding Achievement - Production and Practitioner are December 15, 2009 and the extended deadline January 5, 2010.
This year, the Industry Awards have been reviewed and there are now two Lotterywest Awards for Outstanding Achievement, each with a $7,000 cash prize courtesy of Lotterywest.
