MIPCOM travel opportunity and first time attendee discount offer
ScreenWest is offering a limited number of Practitioner Development Travel Grants of $6,250 each to attend this year's MIPCOM market from October 5 to 9, 2009 in Cannes. Applicants seeking the travel funding should submit their application to ScreenWest by 5:00pm Monday July 6, 2009. This is to ensure delegates can register before the early bird closing date (July 30). In addition, MIPCOM is offering first time producers a special early bird rate that will save €250 on the cost of registration.
MIPCOM is the global content event for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment content across all platforms. It provides the key decision-makers in the TV, film, digital and audiovisual content, production and distribution industry with the only market conference and networking forum to discover future trends and trade content rights on a global level.
Experienced and early-mid career producers are invited to apply. Early and mid-career producers must have an experienced producer attached who is prepared to mentor the applicant while at MIPCOM.
