CinefestOz 2010

04 August 2010
CinéfestOZ showcases the best of the latest French and Australian films and celebrates both cultures. This year's program includes seven Western Australian premieres, four of which are local features. The festival will take place in Busselton from August 25-29.

Blame will have its WA premiere with a special Melbourne International film Festival screening at CinefestOz in conjunction with ScreenWest. Also having their WA debuts are Little Sparrows, Needle and The Tree.

For five days CinéfestOZ descends on Busselton with an engaging program of Australian and French cinema.

Beyond the home grown crop of WA features other program highlights French comedy Micmacs and Aussie films The Wedding Party and Beneath Hill 60 and WA expat Michael Bond's film Passengers.

CinéfestOZ has established itself as a premiere event on WA's calendar for filmmakers, distributors and audiences to enjoy enhanced cultural experiences from the two cultures. Featuring an impressive line-up of festival guests at the previous two festivals, watch out for an announcement for this year's line-up.
