Call for entries – National Film & Comedy Festivals
The Australian Film Festival, Portable Film Festival and Over the Fence Comedy Festival are all calling for entries for their 2010 program.
The Australian Film Festival is calling for final entries for 2010. Entries are for Features, Documentaries, Short Films and 15min scripts of any genre. Submissions are due by February 15.
Held over 12 inspiring days with the iconic Randwick Ritz Cinema as the screening HQ, the festival includes a series of unreleased features, outdoor screenings, the Australian Short Film Festival, FutureFilm screenplay competition, seminars and workshops, fringe events with Q & A's by Australia's best filmmakers, the Spot Food & Film street festival and the Australian Film Walk of Fame.

The Portable Film Festival (Portable) returns for its fifth year - Entries can be in Short Film, Music Video, Look at Me (online video including serials and webisodes), Get Animated (a dedicated animation category), First Hand Capture (for content shot on mobile devices like cell phones), and full Feature Films. Submissions are due by May 14.

The 13th Over The Fence Comedy Film festival is calling for entries for features (over 70mins); featurettes or short form series (over 45mins) and documentaries and short films (1-45mins) for its 2010 program. The essential criteria for the entries are that they must have an excellent sense of humour. Submissions close on February 15.
The festival starts in Perth on October 2 and tours throughout WA around regional and metropolitian locations and will travel with screenings to be held in NSW, QLD, VIC and SA.
