AWG to host second session of its popular Creative Briefing event

25 July 2008
The Australian Writers Guild (AWG) is now taking bookings for a second creative briefing, after its first session booked out in just a few days.  The sessions are a rare opportunity to find out directly what two of Western Australia's leading screen production companies are looking for.

Taylor Media's Natalie Bell and Kit Oldfield, and Media World's Ross Hutchens, will give an overview of their recent productions and approach to development for new television, cinema and online programs.

Natalie and Kit will discuss what content and formats they are currently seeking and will invite new and established writers and creators to make contact, while Ross will outline the kinds of projects that are of interest to Media World and how to go about developing a proposal for consideration.

With numbers strictly limited, to allow for individual networking, the AWG is now arranging a second briefing.  If you would like to attend, please email Alan Payne and include a contact phone number.  In the subject heading of your email, write "[your surname] Second Briefing".
