Audience and Industry Engagement Program – Round three applications open

01 February 2012
ScreenWest's Audience and Industry Engagement Program (AIEP) seeks to support the expansion of the WA screen industry through festivals, events and projects that encourage and facilitate dialogue and interaction between the screen industry and the WA public. This is the final AIEP round of the 2011-12 financial year. Applications close 5:00pm Monday, 20 February 2012.

Activities that are eligible to apply for AIEP funding include:

  • Festivals, screenings and events that profile Western Australian screen content and/or filmmakers to WA audiences.
  • Activities that provide an opportunity for the WA public to give feedback to the WA screen industry and screen practitioners.
  • Activities where both screen practitioners and the community are collaboratively able to engage with and learn from world-class (interstate or international) screen practitioners.

AIEP funding is extremely competitive, with demand for funds outweighing what is available. Projects that have received AIEP funding include the Flickerfest Short Film Festival, Revelation Perth International Film Festival, CinéfestOZ and the National Film and Sound Archive's Black Screen touring program.

People intending to apply for AIEP funding, especially those applying for the first time, are requested to contact A/Industry & Corporate Affairs Officer Zoe Hayden on (08) 6552 7722 or email zoe.hayden@screenwest.wa.gov.au to discuss your project before making a formal application.

For more information and details on how to apply, please download the AIEP guidelines from ScreenWest's funding page.
