Apply now to participate in a mega mobile workshop lab
ScreenWest and the Department of Culture and the Arts (DCA) are providing a travel assistance contribution for up to three teams working with innovative and artistic mobile based ideas to participate in the 2009 mega (Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance) final pitch to Australian industry leaders.
Do you want in-depth knowledge of the mobile industry?
Would your company benefit from a better understanding of this platform?
Do you want to develop your mobile-based idea further?
Have you got skills in creativity, technology, business or entrepreneurship?
Then the mega business incubator program may be for you. Run in 2009 in Adelaide, this hands on, industry led program provides an intensive environment for companies, entrepreneurs and individuals to workshop content, products and business expansion into the mobile phone industry.
The funding will enable up to three WA teams selected to take part in the final pitch to attend in person on Friday July 3, 2009. Assistance will also be available to facilitate remote participation in all aspects of the Mega program.
Previous applicants to the iArts initiative are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Applications for mega 2009 are welcome from teams and individuals and should be directed to mega rather than DCA or ScreenWest. Download an application form from the mega website. Applications close December 15. Please discuss your application with mega staff prior to applying. Contact sasha@mega.org.au or call 08 8226 9887.
Queries about ScreenWest / DCA travel support should be directed to Funding Team Leader Shannon Jenkins by email or phone 08 9224 7350.
