AFTRS Course: Distribution, Exhibition and International Sales
Tait Brady will lead a three-part workshop featuring expert industry guest speakers and will explore the complex world of domestic distribution and international film sales. This course will take place on August 22, 23 and 30.
Industry insiders break their silence to deliver essential information filmmakers need in their dealings with distributors and international sales agents. The course will examine the professional and contractual relationships that exist between producer and distributor, and producers and international sales agents.
He will dissect the inner workings of distribution, with specific reference to theatrical release and the DVD market, and provide a detailed overview of the 'revenue waterfall' inclusive:
