ABC Kids TV Spring Development Round
Throughout the year ABC Children’s Television run a number of development rounds which focus on particular genres and demographics. Currently submissions are open for the Spring Development Round 2010 for Factual and Entertainment Formats for 8-12 year olds/10-15 year olds.
Successful formats on ABC3 include Prank Patrol, Scorpion Island, Barney’s Barrier Reef, Serious Andes, Deadly 60, Michaela's Wild Challenge and Outback 8. They are all very different programs but all feature strong formats.
ABC Children’s Television is looking for programs in the factual and entertainment genres to develop that could potentially fall under the following license fees.
• Approximately $25K per episode for 52 episodes x 26 minutes
• Approximately $50K per episode for 13 episodes x 26 minutes
The closing date for submissions for the Spring Development Round 2010 is Wednesday December 1, 2010.
