Find out how to successfully make the transition from short filmmaker to professional at the Australian Film Television and Radio School's (AFTRS) Guerilla Filmmaking course. Applications to attend the two-day Perth seminar close Monday July 6, 2009.
The course will explore the funding, production, distribution and marketing of films. Participants will have the opportunity to identify alternative financing models; articulate the benefits and challenges of employing new technology; outline a recruitment plan for cast and crew; and outline a marketing and distribution plan for their film.
The course will be presented by Louise Alston, Director of the film All My Friends are Leaving Brisbane and Jucy. Louise has directed several short films, TV commercials and video clips. She has created and produced two television series for cable TV as well as producing fringe theatre in Sydney and Brisbane.
