FTI Networking Event

The Film and Television Institute (FTI) has announced a ‘speed dating' event at 6:30pm on August 14, aimed at getting creative minds thinking and connecting with each other. 

If you've ever asked the question, "Where can I find a producer?" or "How can I meet people to make a film?" - then this event is for you.

So how does it work?: 

1. Get up and say what you're all about, ‘filmically'.

2. While you do, up to 24 images (submitted previously) will be powerpointed behind you on the cinema screen. You have between 2 and 3 minutes to pitch your concept, doco, drama or yourself.

3. The images can be films you've made, pictures that inspire you, a location you want to use or a character you want to portray. ANYTHING!

4. Mingle after the presentation. If you liked someone's spiel, then approach them. If you need help with that part then FTI's Production Support will be there.
